The Home is not run by the States or a Parish, but is a registered charity, and member number 96 of the Association of Jersey Charities. However, whilst being a charity, this does not detract from our provision of quality care in bespoke surroundings.
Although our day to day running costs are covered by the low fees paid by residents, we rely on donations and fund raising to cover longer term capital projects and equipment needs, and all donations or bequests are very gratefully received.
Our lady residents may pay privately for their care and accommodation, or they may be in receipt of Income Support, but everyone is treated equally.
From January 2019, the basic private fee for a standard room is £727.92 per week.
There is an extra charge for the larger rooms, or if the resident has a high level of dependency.
Donations may be made using PayPal, on our dedicated page at the Association of Jersey Charities by clicking DONATE
Alternatively, donations may be made directly to the Home or to the Treasurer, by cash or by cheque (made payable to Glanville Home).
Naturally we are always extremely grateful when we receive a bequest, having been remembered by someone in their Will.
